Fully managed ICT at Bucks Country Museum

Executive Summary
Migrating from council provided ICT services has given Bucks County Museum a more flexible IT environment that provides greater resilience and scalability.

The Challenge
The current model for ICT delivery was hampering Bucks County Museum’s ability to operate in a smooth manner. Extended break-fix times could prove both frustrating and disruptive and, with no direct access to their systems, even the simplest requirement or problem had to be resolved by the Council’s IT help desk.

The Solution
PSTG have helped the museum to fully transform their ICT estate, replacing desktops, switches, servers, WAN and the phone system. All existing services have been migrated and transitioned to the Cloud using Microsoft Office 365. The museum now benefits from enhanced SLA’s and 24/7 break/fix support.

The Results
“We now have a system that is much more suited to our needs as a charity, and feel more in control of our budgets and day-to-day operational matters. PSTG’s absolute commitment to customer service meant they were prepared to help us resolve problems that were not even in their remit, and their flexibility in helping us address how we funded the project was exemplary,”
Richard De Peyer, Director, Bucks County Museum
